Welcome to LCVS | United Way

LCVS | United Way brings people and organisations together for positive change in communities through voluntary action and charitable giving.

Established in 1909, we work with diverse communities to make a positive difference to people's lives by:

  • Providing information and services to non-profit organisations so that they can be the best they can be.
  • Involving local communities and the non-profit sector to have a voice on issues that matter, so that they can influence and shape decisions affecting them.
  • Initiating partnerships of communities, non-profits, businesses  and individuals to focus on issues of education, health and income stability.
  • Inspiring individuals and organisations to give to good causes and assisting with administration and legal compliance.
We are United Way Worldwide’s national partner for the UK.

Free Upcoming Start-up Workshops

Our regular free workshops are for individuals planning to start up a new non-profit organisation. Attendees will get valuable information on what they need to think about when starting, which will support both fundraising and successful service delivery.

Dates for the next workshops:

Wednesday 11 July 2012, 10am-12.30pm
Wednesday 19 September 2012, 5.30-8pm

All take place here at LCVS | United Way, 151 Dale Street, Liverpool, L2 2AH.
