Eligibility Criteria Consultation Extended

Liverpool City Council is currently consulting on its Eligibility Criteria, sometimes referred to as Fair Access to Care Services (FACS) criteria.

Since March 2011, Liverpool City Council has been meeting with staff, providers, users of services and family/carers about the proposal to deliver council-funded care to people who are assessed as substantial or critical so that we can target our resources at those in most need. So far, a number of large public events have been held across the north, south and centre of the city and have also invited people to feedback further at four small focus groups.

Liverpool City Council wants to listen to as many people as possible about this important proposal to understand how this may affect you and others across the city. In order to provide people with the opportunity to have their say and review the feedback received so far, the decision has been made to extend the consultation period until Friday 29 July 2011.

To continue the conversation with everyone involved four follow up events have been arranged:

Monday 25 July - 12.30pm arrival, 1.00 – 2.30pm - LACE Conference Centre, Croxteth Drive, Sefton Park, Liverpool, L17 1AA.
