LCVS | United Way runs regular workshops for individuals thinking of starting up a new non-profit organisation. Attendees will get valuable information on what they need to think about when starting, which will support both fundraising and successful service delivery.
The session will cover:
- Proving the need for your organisation (to you and to funders)
- Choosing the right legal structure
- The process of starting up the organisation
- Some sources of funding
The workshop will last 2.5 hours, and will include the opportunity to ask questions of our experienced advisers.
Start up workshops during early 2012:
- Thursday 19 January, 1 - 3.30pm
- Tuesday 7 February, 10am - 12.30pm
- Wednesday 7 March, 5.30 - 8pm
