National Air Ambulance Awareness Week, Monday 26 September - Sunday 2 October, is North West Air Ambulance's biggest fundraising week, and an excellent opportunity to raise vital funds for the charity. You can help recognise the work of their crews, volunteers and supporters who provide a vital life saving service. The week-long campaign will engage the local community and businesses alike, to join the Lift Off week in support of the North West Air Ambulance. This year, they need to raise £4.3 million to keep their two aircrafts and paramedics in the air.
You could wear something yellow for the day, paint your face yellow, have a cake sale or Go Yellow competition at your workplace or even hold a non uniform day at your school. Go online for some examples of what you can do. Be creative!
