The Young Foundation is seeking partners for its Digital Activism programme, which launched in March 2011. This is a two year programme funded through the Big Lottery's People Powered Change activities.
Young Foundation's aim is to practically support six communities across the country to use digital technology to build community activism and to share best practice and learning with other communities in England. Groups could be geographically determined such as estate or neighbourhood groups, or hold a common interest such as religion.
The Young Foundation will work with communities over a period of two years to support their efforts to increase local activism through the use of digital technology. This not a grant giving programme.
The deadline for proposals is Friday 17 June 2011.
