Kuumba Day Nursery, a new social enterprise day nursery has opened its doors to children aged 0-5 years in the Kuumba Imani Millennium Centre, Princes Road.
Kuumba Imani Millennium Centres' experience of working with children and families is extensive. For many years, they have provided a wide range of support services to meet the needs of local people, particularly women and children.
The service will operate up to 51 weeks per year Monday to Friday from 7.30am - 6.30pm, excluding Bank holidays, and will accommodate up to 29 children aged between 0-5 years.
It is intended that the provision will be a well balanced multicultural day nursery, which reflects the demographic profile of Liverpool. As such, all children and their families from a diverse range of ethnic backgrounds will be welcome.
To ensure the child care delivered is to a high standard, highly qualified staff have been appointed to ensure that the quality of child care is exceptional, meets the requirements of Ofsted and expectations of parents/carers.
