LCVS have been pleased to assist Liverpool City Council Community Resource Programme by providing pre-application support to voluntary and community sector organisations.
From the 39 groups we advised with 1-2-1 advice specifically about CRU, they are recommended in the CRU report to Cabinet to receive £1,039,202.
We also ran workshops to help organisations prepare their CRU applications and covered evidence of need, outcomes of work and full cost recovery. 167 organisations booked onto these workshops. Organisations have been recommended to receive a total of £939,675. (This is over and above the amount recommended to those who received 1-2-1 advice).
Our support helped organisations gain a total of £1,978,877 grant support for 2011/12. This is 53% of the total CRU programme of £3,720,000.
We are pleased that the variety of services from LCVS have enabled organisations to prepare successful applications that meet CRU criteria during these difficult times.
