Liverpool Common Assessment Framework

The Common Assessment Framework (CAF) is a national initiative within the Every Child Matters agenda. There is a requirement for CAF to be part of the working processes of all services working with children.

CAF designed to enable a trained practitioner, to discuss a concern for a child to work together with their family and record the outcomes of this discussion on a standard form. With the family or child’s consent, this assessment can then be shared with other practitioners to work out what action is required.

Practitioners are invited to attend the CAF & Lead Professional Workshops. The workshop is valuable to those professionals who have attended training over twelve months ago and would benefit from a refresher on CAF & Lead Professional roles.

There are now three more dates available. The venue is Toxteth Annexe and the workshops are taking place 9.30am-4pm.
