Liverpool's Dignity in Care Charter

The Dignity in Care Campaign was launched nationally in November 2006 to stimulate a national debate and create a care system where there is zero tolerance and disrespect of adults. This is an important challenge to be addressed and in Liverpool a partnership approach has been taken to commit to the achievement of high quality services that respect people’s dignity.

An event was held on Tuesday 10 May 2010 which was positively received and resulted in the production of Liverpool's Dignity in Care Charter. This has now been endorsed by Liverpool Health and Social Care Champions Group. This event was attended by members from Liverpool's Local Involvement Network (LINk).
