Merseyside Chinese Community Development Association (MCCDA) is looking to recruit new Trustees to its Council of Management.
Active since 1989, MCCDA is a Liverpool-based registered charity and social business that works with the Chinese and other communities across Merseyside to promote and support independent living, physical, mental, social and economic well-being, reduce isolation, and provide opportunities for community participation.
Have you got the vision, commitment and energy to help MCCDA achieve its goals? MCCDA is looking for trustees who can complement the existing trustees skills base, and is interested in hearing from people who have the ability to develop the organisation by providing strategic direction, clear leadership, and a commitment to the provision of quality social and community care services to the community.
This is a voluntary position, but travel expenses may be reimbursed in your role as a trustee. Awareness of the Chinese community is desirable but not essential.
If you would like to know more or apply for this exciting opportunity, contact Liz Reed for more details and an application pack at liz.reed@lcvs.org.uk. Closing date for applications is Friday 28 October 2011.
