The Mersey Docks and Harbour Company funds projects that build the capacity of the community to help itself, are based on real need, show volunteer involvement and demonstrate value for money. Between £50 - £500 is available.
The fund targets groups working in Sefton, Liverpool, Halton and Wirral. Priority will be given to those groups working in disadvantaged areas of the community. Groups should show how their project can be sustained once the grant has been spent and what the long term benefits of their project will be.
This is a rolling grant programme with an online application process, available via the available grants section of the Community Foundation for Merseyside website.
