Merseyside Police Authority Community Awards 2011

Merseyside Police Authority plans to award successful community organisations whose work has an impact on community safety and crime reduction. You are invited to nominate organisations for an award from the Authority.

Awards of up to £3,000 will be presented to one successful community project from each of the five Merseyside Community Safety Partnership areas at the Annual General Meeting of Merseyside Police Authority to be held on Thursday 23 June 2011 in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Speke, Liverpool.

This award will recognise the achievement of projects making a positive impact in the field of community safety and crime reduction in Merseyside. Community safety covers a wide range of topics including crime prevention, reduction, awareness raising, increasing reporting and home, road, and personal safety. The award money will be used to further develop the winning project in the field of community safety.

Projects must be Merseyside-based, not-for-profit purposes and have an impact on crime reduction and community safety.

All nominations must be returned to Merseyside Police Authority by 5pm on Friday 27 May 2011.
