LCVS has lost a significant level of funding (-68%) for 2011/12 compared with previous years. Much of what we do has been funded by Area Based Grant and Specific Grant, which have been cut by central government. This means that we have to say goodbye to many of our skilled and valuable staff. It also means that we will have to do things differently. We won’t be able to operate at the same scale as we have in the past, but LCVS can assure you of the same high quality service.
Please bear with us as we complete our obligations under current contracts and grant agreements and get ready for the challenges ahead.
We expect to continue to provide free information, advice and guidance on all aspects of running a nonprofit organisation, but we are also having to introduce a new chargeable service where we carry out specific work for you e.g. writing a funding bid or a business plan.
