Team Oasis Feasibility Study

The Team Oasis children’s charity has been running for over seven years providing activities for children of all abilities and circumstance in and around Liverpool. They are based in South Liverpool on Upper Stanhope Street. The premises they are currently occupying is due to be demolished in the next two years. The building is also not adequate for some of the activities that Team Oasis provides. Team Oasis run a wide range of activities for 4-16-year-olds. The charity also works with local schools providing after schools trips for children in a wide range of outings. The main ethos of the charity is to engage children with disability with mainstream children to break down barriers and help to form new friendships.

Due to the demand for the activities, the future and immediate need for a different premises, Team Oasis is looking to the future to have their own purpose-built centre to incorporate all the activities. The hope is that the new centre will be in South Liverpool and the home for the Team Oasis Inclusive Children’s Charity. This state of the arts sports and arts facility will provide a welcoming environment for all the children and families who attend.

The centre will be more than just a sports centre for the community as it will be lead by dynamic teachers and instructors who will run classes and training sessions for the children every evening/weekends. It will also be made available for school sessions during the day at an extremely low cost rate to the schools.
