Can Cook Studio are planning a big community event on the Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 of September called 'The Big Feed'.
Can Cook have been working across Liverpool teaching people to cook and getting people excited about food. This event - " The Big Feed" will feed 2000 community residents over the two days for free. The menu will be tasty and healthy - prepared freshly by our Chefs.
- The Can Cook Cooking Dome will run cookery sessions throughout the day for 50 people to come and cook along with out Chefs. They will take recipes and a tasty meal away with them. The Dome is also equipped with a gallery for up to 60 people.
- There will be a range of family activities, including a football pitch.
- Stalls will be available for organisations to promote their messages and run activities.
- We plan to have an outdoor cinema with a family film in the evening.
There will be 2000 free lunches available and we would like to make sure that people from every organisation can access this. We will be putting together packs including flyers with details of the day, and vouchers towards the free meals for community groups to distribute amongst the people they work with.
