Transformation Fund Support from Volunteer Centre Liverpool
Volunteer Centre Liverpool can help groups wishing to apply to Liverpool City Council’s Transformation Fund, by providing:
- Guidance on job substitution (replacing previously paid staff roles with volunteers) – the legal and ethical considerations
- Assistance in developing a volunteer policy
- Information on volunteer expenses, insurance cover, screening (e.g. CRB checks)
- Up-to-date advice on good practice in volunteer management
- Developing volunteering opportunities that are attractive and accessible to a wide range of people
