A pioneering project by Voice of Nations (VON) to promote physical activities and healthy life styles for hard to reach women, for whom there are significant gaps in mainstream provision.
VON will work with 20 women from the BRM community. The project will involve the delivery of 20 fitness sessions by a professional trainer, each composed of aerobics, steps and other physical activities to keep fit, active and stay healthy. Each session will last for an hour and will take place every Tuesday 4pm-5pm, beginning Tuesday 27 September.
The sessions are provided free of charge for the first 20 women. Free childcare is available on a first come first serve basis. Thereafter, a small fee will apply to anyone willing to join the sessions. Drinking water and fruits are provided for free during and after the sessions respectively. Two more free places are available, book now for your free place.
This initiative is supported by Liverpool NHS Primary Care Trust.
