Volunteer Centre Liverpool is holding a Volunteer Managers Network event on Monday 5 September 2011, from 10am to 12.30pm at the Learning Exchange, 52 Roscoe Street, Liverpool L1 9DW.
At this event Colin Heaney from LCVS who will talk about changes to their trust funds, which could be beneficial for the work that you do. Volunteer Managers from the Universities and Liverpool Community College will be providing information on the Volunteering Liverpool website and available to answer questions about recruiting volunteers online. There will also be a choice of two workshops:
- Best practice when dealing with difficult volunteers - how to deal with particular issues
- The benefits of using students as volunteers for you and your organisation
