LCVS Capacity Building Team has been funded by Liverpool City Council to provide capacity building advice and support to the third sector in Liverpool during 2011 to 2012.
As such, free health checks will be made available and casework support will be provided regarding funding, governance and management, to those organisations who fit the eligibility criteria (detailed below).
The free health check will involve an assessment with staff and/or trustees of your organisation, from which we will identify those areas where an organisation is well run, and those areas where it can be improved. Casework support will be tailored to the needs of each client.
To manage the limited amount of free support available, places will be made available to eligible groups on a monthly basis.
In order to access this free support, eligible groups should contact LCVS by phone or email and register their request. Eligible groups will be dealt with on a first come first served basis.
Each month we will send an email to those on our database and announce on this website that free spaces are available and how many can be accessed.
For those that are not able to access this free support we will be able to assist you, but this will be on a charged basis. Services have been designed so that smaller ‘chunks’ of work can be bought, to keep charges manageable.
