From Jungle to Education

Jungle to Education Logo

From Jungle to Education was formed by a group of ex volunteers from “Casa Guatemala” a home for orphaned, abandoned, or abused children, located on the banks of the Rio Dulce in beautiful Guatemala, Central America.

Jungle to Education is raising funds to support the educational needs and further development of the children that do not receive individual sponsorship. Any money raised goes to provide funding, for children of “Casa Guatemala” to go on to further education once they graduate from 6th form at the age of 13+ years old.

The extra years they can spend at school could be a life changing opportunity. It could be the difference between making enough money for food for the day, and having a career and achieving a sustainable lifestyle allowing them to contribute to the local community.

The project touches the lives of hundreds of people, the 250+ kids that live at the children's village, the people who work at the orphanage, the teachers that are employed at the orphanage school, members of the local village and the volunteers from all over the world who give their time to help out.

The orphanage receives no government support and is totally dependent upon the kind donations from people and groups from around the world.
