Liverpool Pride

Liverpool-Pride Logo

Liverpool Pride will be the first official lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGB&T) pride festival to be held in the Liverp ool City Region. The festival is based the key values of inclusivity, visibility, free-to-access and Liverpool.

All contributions will be used to deliver a large scale event on the Saturday 4 August 2012, with multiple performance spaces, information areas looking at health & wellbeing, culture, sports, employability and a community market. There are also sport and cultural events on the Chilled Out Sunday, Sunday 5 August and in the week leading up to the event.

Liverpool has suffered from a number of high profile homophobic attacks in the last two years and this festival will celebrate the positive aspects of LGB&T life in Liverpool. We will continue to develop Liverpool Pride into a highly successful, self-funding event which attracts visitors to the region from across the UK, Europe and further afield with a unique Liverpool identity to be an experience not to miss.
