Prince’s Trust Liverpool now recruiting for fully funded Fairbridge Programme

The Prince’s Trust Liverpool is now recruiting for the Fairbridge Programme, which is due to start on Tuesday 1st October.

Fairbridge is a personal and social development programme for 16-25-year-olds, consisting of 2 outdoor learning sessions a week (Tue-Wed) for 4 weeks. These include activities such as climbing, abseiling, mountain/hill walking, paddling, bush craft and mountain biking, all to build confidence and resilience in the young people.

Incorporated are activities that build skills such as communication, teamwork, problem solving, setting/achieving goals and managing feelings and inspire positive changes in attitude and aspirations.

Young people receive 1-1 support with a dedicated case worker. After the 4-weeks young people receive up to 3 month’s progression support to move them into a positive outcome such as a job, volunteering, education or training.

Young people will also gain accredited qualifications along with Princes Trust accredited certificates. There’s also an opportunity to take part in an adventurous 3-day residential trip.

Fairbridge is fully funded, all kit and equipment is supplied, travel costs are reimbursed, lunch/meals are provided and it does not affect the receipt of benefits.

For more information, to join or to refer a young person please call Dan on 07483366340.
