Course content:
- Understand the common factors that can cause absence from work
- Appreciate the importance of absence from work statistics
- Learn how to best manage persistent short-term & long-term absence
- Successfully conduct return to work interviews
- Appreciate the legislation that applies to absence management
- Apply various methods to assist in absence control & reduction of absence levels
- Develop key aspects of absence policy & procedure for implementation
This course is for line managers or anyone with responsibility of managing others. The course is free to attend – £40 fee issued applied if booking not cancelled within one week or non-arrival on the day.
