Pure Creative Arts presents a day of seminars to examine two of the primary sources of depression in adolescents. The seminars will focus on gaining understanding of how to recognise, help and support young people who are suffering from depression.
Topics covered will include:
- Signs, symptoms and causes of depression in adolescents.
- The contribution of context to depressive reactions.
- Factors that exacerbate or reduce the intensity of depression and ways of coping with the disorder.
The day is delivered in association with John Mayhew, Consultant in Applied Psychology and author of the book ‘Psychological Change’.
