CANCELLED: LCVS Training - Partnerships, Collaboration & Consortia

Tuesday 6 March, 10.00am to 4.00pm - LCVS, 151 Dale Street, L2 2AH.

With funding becoming more difficult to come by, organisations are increasingly being asked to work together. Often seen as a last resort, working in partnership with other organisations can actually help achieve your own aims, whilst sharing the risk and costs associated with a project. It can also help you achieve more than if your organisation took on the work in isolation.

However, working more formally with other organisations can seem like a daunting task, particularly if your organisation has never done it before.

You will be equipped to:

  • ask the right questions of yourself and potential partners before entering into a partnership, collaboration or consortium
  • choose the appropriate legal framework for any jointly delivered project
  • avoid the pitfalls and maximise the opportunities of working with external partners

This course is ideal for those looking to develop their understanding of what is involved in working in partnership with external partners, or considering the idea of creating or joining a consortium.

Please see the booking form or full brochure for how to book and terms and conditions.
