Conference attendees will increase their hoarding literacy and will be provided with opportunities to engage with people who have substantial lived experience and expertise in this area.
The event includes:
- “We need to talk about Hoarding” (includes Q&A sessions with group peers and family members)
- Inside Out: A guide to working effectively with individuals and groups
- ‘The Declutter Diaries’ & ‘suPEERior support’
- Animated Film Premiere: ‘A-Z of Hoarding’ (Salford & Merseyside HHH Groups)
- The Research Landscape (University of Oxford)
- ‘Landfill of Memories’ (Susanna Amato).
In addition, there will be display stands/stalls, a great vibe in the room and plenty of opportunity to interact/network with participants who represent a wide range of communities, organisations, and services.
The event is aimed at people working in: Social Housing; Health & Social Care; Commissioning; Community & Voluntary sector organisations; Social Prescribing; Police/Fire & Rescue services.
The conference will also be beneficial both for people who are experiencing difficulties with hoarding/cluttering and for their family/friends.
The cost of attendance will be £60 per place, and you can either:
- Book group/individual places @£60 per delegate and/or
- Sponsor a person with lived experience/expertise who attends one of their NW Hoarders Helping Hoarders (HHH) network of psychosocial intervention/peer support groups @£50 per sponsored place.
