In 2016, LCVS was commissioned to administer this fund on behalf of Carillion Construction Services, the principal contractor for the new-build Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
The community fund was delivered as part of the Trust’s redevelopment project, Carillion’s community engagement programme and its wider sustainability targets. Addressing community and social issues were key focus areas for both the Trust and the Carillion Sustainability Strategies.
The aim of the programme was to leave a legacy from the New Royal Liverpool Hospital project to both the City and the local community. By funding community projects to support community enrichment and initiatives, Carillion positively contributed towards the quality of life of local communities.
The fund priorities were:
- Healthy Living (5 Ways to Wellbeing)
- Building Stronger Communities
- Cleaner, Safer, Greener Communities
This fund is now closed.
