Roles and Responsibilites of Board Members

Training Date: 07 February 2019
Registration is closed for this event
Not for profit organisations come in all shapes and sizes, including companies, trusts and associations. One thing that unites them is that they are run by a governing body who are ultimately responsible for the organisation. It is important for members of the governing body (either trustees, directors or both) to be aware of their roles and responsibilities.

This training will cover:

• The roles, responsibilities and legal obligations of being a Trustee/Director
• The risk involved in running a charity/charitable company and how to manage those risks

This course is ideal for current and potential trustees/directors, as well staff/volunteers running or considering running a charity/charitable company.
