2022-23 Interchange Research Projects

Are you a Voluntary and Community Organisation? Do you require research or a work-based learning project that will support the aims of your organisation? Are you a registered charity or not-for-profit group? Can you support a Student Community Researcher?

Interchange is a registered charity that connects Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) with voluntary and community organisations (VCOs) for the purpose of research and work-based learning projects. They are committed to enhancing student learning and being of public benefit to the local community.

Based in the University of Liverpool’s Department of Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology, their final-year students can gather evidence to assist you in areas such as:

  • Identifying a gap in knowledge
  • Reviewing policy
  • Impact evaluations
  • Business plans & annual reports
  • Funding applications
  • Improving services & sustainability.

There is no charge for this service, and VCOs will receive a copy of the report upon completion of the project, which will begin in September and run till either January or May 2023, depending on the type of project you require.

If you have a project idea, please contact Kevin & Robyn at interchange@liverpool.ac.uk to request the required forms. If you have any queries at all, email them or call 0151 795 8684 or 07856 728 502.
