The 9th NOW Festival will take place from 6 – 8 February 2024 at the Lighthouse in Anfield. Children and young people throughout Merseyside are invited to showcase their creativity around the theme of mental health and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Trauma and Attachment.
The NOW Festival is:
- An opportunity for children and young people from schools, youth groups, and community organisations to develop and showcase their performance piece on stage at the Lighthouse
- Pieces will be created by the young people but supported by members of the RAISE Mental Health Promotion Team
- A celebration of the creativity of children and young people in a fun and inspiring environment
- A chance to engage children and young people in creative discussion around what’s needed to overcome challenges and raise awareness of the impact these challenges can have on their mental health.
