The Lived Experience team at Cheshire and Merseyside NHS are holding an Open Session for people who would like to know more about the opportunities available to them through the Peer Leadership Development Programme.
The Peer Leadership Development Programme is a personal development programme that supports people to become ‘Peer Leaders’, equipping participants with the tools to effect change in the health and social care systems, as well as to support themselves through their own long-term health conditions, disability or caring roles.
The hour-long session will provide people with an opportunity to:
- Learn and hear more about the programme, how it works and what you will get out of it.
- Gain an understanding of each of the steps involved in the Peer Leadership Development Programme;
- Learn about the opportunities open to Peer Leaders on completing the Peer Leadership Development Programme, including the Peer Leadership Network and Strategic Coproduction Group.
The session is also open to people working within health and social care who would like to know more about the Peer Leadership Development Programme.
