Are you looking for volunteering opportunities within the Merseyside area? Do you want to boost your CV whilst also helping the local community?

This event will be specifically open to students from the Department of Sociology, Social Policy & Criminology looking for volunteer placements. Students who are registered on the module, SOCI212: Understanding non-profit organisations are highly encouraged to attend because it is a great opportunity to meet voluntary and community organisation representatives and secure your placement in time for Semester 2.

If you are enrolled on SOCI212: Understanding non-profit organisations, you will be given early access to the events space between 13:00 and 13:30 PM.

This event is also open to other students from the different departments within the university who are also interested in volunteering with local community organisations. Students from outside of SSPC will be given access to the events space from 13:30 PM onwards.

This is an opportunity to talk to local organisations and register your interest for exciting volunteering placements. Participating organisations will be on hand to deliver advice and guidance as well as support your volunteer applications.

If you are interested and want to find out more about this event, please contact interchange@liverpool.ac.uk.
