Pearl Street (a Project of Our House Community) offers relationally based support to women who are involved in sex working and/or who use substances. They offer trauma- informed practical and emotional support through their mobile harm reduction night outreach service, day-time support and wellbeing groups and activities. Their support is holistic, person centred and the way they work is a relationally based way of working. They aim to support each individual and group in a compassionate, non-judgemental and consistent way to meet needs, empower aspirations and an aim to improve well-being for women they work with.
Job Summary
They are looking for a creative and compassionate Women’s Wellbeing Worker to support women involved in sex work and/or substance use through therapeutic, engaging, and empowering wellbeing activities. You’ll help design and deliver group sessions, one-to-one support, and connect women with activities that bring joy, connection, and purpose.
They’re looking for someone with:
- Experience supporting women in community, outreach or wellbeing settings
- Creativity and confidence in running crafts/creative/wellbeing sessions
- A trauma-informed, relational approach
- A full UK driving license and car required.
