Contract: Permanent.
Term: Part time.
Salary: £15,795 (£13.50 per hour) – 17,550 (£15 per hour) – dependent upon relevant qualifications and experience. (£26,325 – £29,250 pa full time equivalent based on 37.5 hour week).
Hours per week: 22.5 hours per week (there may be some flexibility with number of hours worked, minimum of 18 maximum of 25).
Reporting to: Initially COHL Team Rector Revd Helen Edwards, in time (once appointed) Operations Manager.
Location: Office Base/workplace: St Andrew’s Church, Adshead Road (home working for some hours by agreement) with travel across the parish sites as required.

Job Summary

They are seeking a dedicated and organised Finance Officer to join their Support Services Team. As the Finance Officer, working closely with and to support the Parochial Church Council Treasurer and volunteer Finance Co-ordinators. You will play a pivotal role in developing systems and overseeing the day-to-day management of the parish accounts and payroll.

Their aim is for the Finance Officer to relieve the administrative burden, currently shouldered by individual parishes and to enable the role-specific tasks to be completed more efficiently and so free people up for mission and ministry.
