Merseyside Law Centre delivers free specialist social welfare legal advice and assistance in Housing and Welfare Benefits. They have surgeries at outreach locations and in 2 courts across the Liverpool City Region. They provide all levels of advice up to and including specialist legal casework and court and tribunal.
Job Summary
They are looking for a Legal Assistant to support the housing team in the delivery of legal advice and assistance, primarily through client-facing, administrative, and record-keeping support.
They’re looking for a team player who has great organisational skills, a real interest in social welfare law and a commitment to access to justice.
