As we approach the end of a busy and challenging year, we wanted to take a moment to mark a milestone in the calendar for LCVS: the imminent retirement of our friend and colleague, Christina Dempsey.

After over 8 years of dedicated service, Christina will soon be enjoying a well-earned rest or at least enjoying more time to take up a whole new raft of new and exciting activities.

In her time with us, Christina has supported hundreds of grassroots organisations to make a vital difference to the communities that they serve.

Many charities and community groups simply would not be here today without the help that Christina provided.

Throughout her time with us, Christina carried out her duties with skill, dedication, humour, and a sensitivity to the needs of others that made her a real asset to the organisation.

Christina, you and your family should be very proud of what you achieved in your time with us.

Whilst we will miss you, no doubt we will catch up again soon to celebrate all that you have achieved and to hear about the next stage of your adventure.
