Action for Children is recruiting volunteers who would like to mentor a child for 3 to 4 hours a week. This role is rewarding and supports children aged 5 to 11+. They will be delivering a rolling training programme as part of their safer recruitment process.
Please go along and enjoy the experience, they welcome all individuals from all walks of lives and backgrounds. You are welcome to attend their training delivered by a team who are friendly and supportive.
If volunteering is something you have thought about doing but are unsure it is for you and you are an adult aged 18+, come along to our training and decide for yourself.
Merseyside Junior Mentoring Volunteer Induction Training dates:
- Friday 28/01/2022 – 9.30 till 4.30 pm
- Thursday 17/02/2022 – 9.30 am till 4.30 pm
- Venue/online training will be confirmed near to the dates – pending the governments and Action for Children’s Covid – 19 restriction guidelines.
