Volunteer Organiser & Promotions Officer (Liverpool Reconnect Service)

Age Concern Liverpool & Sefton is looking for a Volunteer Organiser & Promotions Officer to join the Reconnect Service team. The purpose of this role is to ensure the successful recruitment of clients and volunteers and effective promotion of the Liverpool Reconnect Service. The successful applicant will be expected to foster relationships by engaging communities and liaising with multiple agencies predominately across Liverpool. They will also develop new and innovative ways to recruit clients and volunteers; whilst undertaking presentations and co-ordinating and distributing publicity materials.

Befriending & Re-ablement Officer (Liverpool Reconnect Service)

Age Concern Liverpool & Sefton are looking for a Befriending & Re-ablement Officer to join the Reconnect Service team. The purpose of this role is to help support the independence of older people, allowing them to remain in their own home for as long as possible. The successful applicant will provide low-level support to older people; promoting self-care, social integration and aiding companionship in their own homes for up to six weeks. They will also organise and facilitate groups for older people to participate in meaningful activities.
