AIM Programme – aspiration, inspiration and motivation for 18 year olds

AIM is a development programme specifically designed for 18 year-olds who require direction, support, and guidance to realise their goals and drive successful futures.

The course is delivered over five consecutive afternoons via Zoom. It involves small groups and one-to-one intervention, to achieve maximum impact, and is tailored to meet individual needs. The programme also includes a recognised accredited qualification.

AIM programmes are beginning every Monday throughout May and June 2021.

The goals of the programme are to help young people:

  • develop self-awareness
  • build confidence and realise potential to succeed
  • develop interpersonal skill
  • create positive relationships

On completion of the SMART Action Plan, all participants will benefit from ongoing coaching, to support progression into their desired outcomes. This may be further education, training or employment.

One past participant said, “I was on a low when the course started and nearly dropped out, but Nicky kept me motivated. The First Aid Course was something I gained a lot from and I’m pleased that I have something beneficial to add to my CV. I do want a job and Nicky keeps me on a positive high. I feel positive and looked after and as though people have taken an interest in me for the first time”
