Alchemic Kitchen CIC is a social enterprise that runs The Queen of Greens. This is a mobile greengrocer which aims to offer a regular service of fresh fruit and vegetables in key localities where there is no current static community provision. Working with and often through existing community, faith and non-statutory organisations, the Queen of Greens helps communities to access affordable fresh fruit and vegetables.
Job Summary
They now want to recruit a second retailer/driver to join the team who can drive their bus, sell fruit and vegetables and keep a smile on their face!
This postholder will work alongside colleagues to ensure the smooth running of their greengrocer service. It is expected that the successful candidate will spend a significant amount of time with local community groups and organisations at the stops alongside being onsite at the Liverpool Food Hub depot where they purchase stock and load their vans.
A clean driving license is essential. This is a physically demanding role and may involve early starts.
