Alder Hey Children’s Charity – Database Support Officer

Term: Full-Time.
Salary: £22,065 – £26,478.
Hours per week: 37.5 hours.
Reporting to: Database Manager.
Location: Alder Hey, Liverpool.

Alder Hey Children’s Charity supports Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, which is the busiest children’s hospital in the UK caring for over 330,000 young patients every year. Alder Hey is also a Centre of Excellence for children with cancer, heart, spinal and brain disease and a National Centre for head and facial surgery, they are one of only four centres nationally to provide epilepsy surgery and one of two accredited major trauma units for children in the North West.

Alder Hey Children’s Charity raises funds to support the pioneering work at their brand new hospital, Alder Hey in the Park, and aims to improve the quality of life for not only the young people they see each year, but through innovations and research into childhood diseases & the quality of life for children across the world.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the charity operations. This role will support the Database Manager with ensuring data is processed in the best possible way across the organisation.

If you are interested in complex problems, can understand difference systems and processes, and enjoy working with data then this role is for you. It is important to have excellent Microsoft Excel skills and the desire to work with large sets of data. You must be able to present complex information with the end user in mind.
