The charity helps to fund a range of activities and projects that are designed to enhance and improve the lives of their amazing young patients. This includes the funding of specialist medical equipment to ensure their brilliant surgeons and clinical staff have the most up to date and cutting-edge technology available and funding hi-tech distraction equipment designed and proven to reduce pain and anxiety in their patients. They also fund a range of programmes and special projects such as their ward musicians, their on-site magician, and the play specialists they have on every ward.
They have recently closed their Surgical Neonatal Appeal, having successfully raised their £3m target towards a brand new, state of the art Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the hospital. This year they are fundraising towards a new Same Day Emergency Care Centre, providing an unrivalled experience for their patients and their families.
Job Summary

They’re experiencing an exciting period of expansion, having recently seen significant increases in their regular donor base and contactable supporters. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee the development and administration of their individual giving and legacy portfolio, working closely with the Individual Giving Manager to shape and implement their strategy for growth and supporter engagement.
You’ll play a crucial role in enhancing their impact, providing exceptional supporter care, and contributing to innovative projects that will transform how they connect with their donors.
