Location: Mixture of in-office at Alder Hey Children’s Charity & home working (Hybrid).

Alder Hey Children’s Charity raises vital funds to help make Alder Hey Children’s Hospital a truly world-class, patient-friendly hospital for the 450,000 patients and families they care for every year.

They have recently closed their Surgical Neonatal Appeal, having successfully raised their £3m target towards a brand new, state of the art Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the hospital. This year they will be fundraising towards a new Medicinema and Same Day Emergency Care Centre, providing an unrivalled experience for their patients and their families.

Job Summary

This is a new and exciting opportunity for a Philanthropy Assistant to join the Charity team here at Alder Hey, the UK’s busiest Children’s Hospital. The postholder will work closely with the Philanthropy Support Lead to provide operational support and administration for the team, including events, donor meetings and visits, prospect research, data and use of the charity CRM (Salesforce).
