Alder Hey is a fantastic new children’s hospital designed by children. Built in a park, there is nothing like it anywhere in Europe.
Alder Hey in the Park helps over 275,000 children and their families every year. They are about much more than just treating an illness, at Alder Hey they look after a child and their family and that includes mums, dads, brothers and sisters. They are involved in groundbreaking research and technology. They treat everything from common illnesses to highly complex and specialist conditions from the main hospital site in Liverpool and across community sites and clinics throughout the North West.
Since October 2013, Alder Hey Children’s Charity has helped to raise over £22 million, not only for the new hospital but also for a range of life-saving medical equipment, arts and play activities and vital research. This funding has had a massive and important impact on the lives of the children and the families being treated at Alder Hey in the Park.
