Contract: Temporary (during school holidays).
Term: Part-Time.
Salary: £48.00 a day.
Hours: 5 hours a day/25 hours per week.
Reporting to: Family Support Worker.
Location: L17.
Amadudu is a black and minority specialist refuge, they provide accommodation and supporting services to women and their children fleeing domestic abuse. They prioritise women from black and minority ethnic backgrounds, however not exclusively.
They are now recruiting volunteers for their playschemes during the school holidays. Due to the nature of the service, this post is open to female applicants only.
Qualifications/Experience needed:
- NVQ qualification in either of the following; Playwork, Youth Work and Childcare
- Be prepared to have an enhanced DBS check and provide 2 references
- Understanding of equality and diversity and inclusion
- Previous experience of working in family support environments, awareness of domestic abuse (non-essential).
