Amadudu Refuge – Outreach Caseworker/Resettlement Worker

Hours per week: 35 hours.
Reporting to: Refuge Manager.
Location: Merseyside.

The Amadudu team holds extensive expertise in working with the complexities of violence against women and girls. Their culturally diverse team is made up of women with many years of skills and experience in the field of Domestic Abuse and family support. Amadudu was established in 1991 and is the only by and for specialist BME (Black and Ethnic Minority) refuge in the Liverpool City Region. They are active in local and National campaigns to end violence against women and girls.

Job Summary

You will be responsible for providing a quality family support service to women and children in temporary accommodation, including individual case work, emotional and practical support. You will work between the main refuge site and 6 dispersed safe houses in the Merseyside region. Working as part of a small team you will be responsible to the Refuge Manager.
