Salary: £25,213 FTE (pro-rata 16 hours per week)
Location: Liverpool based office, with travel across Merseyside
Contract: fixed-term, funded for 11 months with the successful applicant taking up the post on 1 May 2019
The Anthony Walker Foundation (AWF) is recruiting a Project Manager for a new, exciting and challenging community project funded by the P. H. Holt Foundation.
The post requires the successful applicant to plan, deliver and evaluate the Community Diversity Champions Project, an initiative to identify and work with members of the community to take an active role in responding to and supporting the wider community who may be experiencing hate incidents throughout Merseyside.
The role will seek to promote and increase the reporting of hate incidents whilst developing the skills, knowledge and experience of the Community Diversity Champions to operate effectively in their own communities. An essential requirement for the post is at least 2 years’ proven experience in successful delivery of capacity and capability projects with people from disadvantaged communities.
