Established in 2001, Asylum Link Merseyside is based in St Anne’s presbytery next to St Anne’s Church in Overbury Street, Wavertree. It is a safe space for Asylum Seekers and Refugees, to meet, relax and find out about the community they have been dropped into.
They offer a wide range of services which are centred on the principles of Friendship and Welcome. These include access to other agencies delivering refugee services on site, the Merseyside Refugee Support Network (MRSN), and the Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit (GMIAU).
Job Details
Specific complex casework related to vulnerable clients, especially the destitute or those at risk of destitution. To assist asylum seekers to access asylum support, as well as support from social/health care providers and other statutory bodies.
