Asylum Link Merseyside (ALM) is a small charity operating in Liverpool and the wider City Region, working with approximately 2500 Asylum Seekers and Refugees each year. They provide a broad range of services for people in the Asylum System with other specialist services working alongside them at the St Anne’s Centre.

Job Summary

Asylum Link Merseyside (ALM) is a small charity operating in Liverpool and the wider City Region, working with approximately 2500 Asylum Seekers and Refugees each year. They provide a broad range of services for people in the Asylum System with other specialist services working alongside them at the St Anne’s Centre.

ALM is looking for someone with an in-depth knowledge of the Asylum Support System, to work or train as a caseworker in its Casework Team. The team works with up to 1000 individuals a year, across a wide range of issues. Working with Local Authorities, partners and other organisations to access support is an integral part of the role.

Only one post is on offer but candidates can apply either in a trainee capacity, or for the ‘qualified’ role, depending on their experience and knowledge. On receipt of applications, they may recommend you apply for one or the other, prior to interview. They would expect candidates to be qualified to Degree Level or have equivalent experience/qualifications.
