Do you work with children and families who could be struggling to meet some basic needs? The BBC Children in Need Emergency Essentials Programme is available to support them and you could make a referral today.
The Emergency Essentials Programme supports children and young people who are facing exceptionally difficult circumstances, and is delivered by Family Fund Business Services.
The programme provides items that meet a child’s most basic needs, such as a bed to sleep in, a cooker to provide a hot meal and other items or services critical to a child’s wellbeing.
During this time, lots of families are facing financial challenges. Applications to this fund must be made by a registered referrer, so if you’re working with vulnerable children up to the age of 18, find out how the Emergency Essentials Programme could help – visit the Family Fund Services website for details.
